How to: Uninstall Windows 95 from the command prompt.
Solution:
Boot to the command prompt only and enter the UNINSTALL command.
1) Boot the computer to use the command prompt only:
a) Restart the computer.
b) Wait for the 'Starting Windows 95' message to appear.
NOTE: You only have a few seconds to press F8 after the 'Starting Windows 95' message appears, before the system continues to load Windows 95.
c) Press F8 IMMEDIATELY. (The text-mode 'Microsoft Windows 95 Startup Menu' appears.)
d) Select 'Command prompt only'.
2) Type the following command at the Windows 95 command prompt, and press ENTER:
UNINSTALL
